Temenos Golf Course Anguilla

It seems that the price for a round of golf at the new 18 hole Greg Norman Golf Course on Anguilla will be $480. It's rumored that Anguillians will get discounted greens fees, but this price has not yet been announced. Those who have played on it are said to be singing it's praises.

Some of the resorts on Anguilla, such as Cap Juluca and Cuisinart are going to be offering "golf packages". It'll be interesting to see how they're going to try to take the sting out of the greens fees with their packages.

$480 seems like a bargain compared to some places. Some say that Barbados has the most expensive greens fees in the world. The place is called Sandy Lane which offers three different courses. The greens fees are $300 but - here's the catch - the cheapest room is $2000 a night.

It'll be a while before we see what the rates will be at the St. Regis Hotel and Spa which isn't scheduled to open until next year.
