The Choice is Made

One of the best things about choosing a vacation to Anguilla was the ease of travel there. Leave BWI 7AM, to Wallblake Airport on Anguilla before 3:00PM. That meant that you could be at the beach the same day. I have always traveled via American Airlines, but they have changed their schedule over the years and have made it somewhat more difficult lately with lengthy layovers in San Juan.

On a trip to Tobogo with a friend close to 10 years ago we had a 6 hour layover in San Juan, something I don't want to repeat (although the jewelry store was happy to have our business during our wait). What a horrible schedule. We left BWI at 7AM and didn't get to Tobogo until around 9:00PM and then were staying all the way at the far end of the island from the airport. It was a long wasted day as far as I was concerned. Anyway, I digress.

Back to Anguilla, I think the next time I travel back there, which will hopefully be in November with my wonderful husband David (it'll be his first time) we'll take US Air from BWI to St. Martin and then take one of the private ferry's from the airport directly to Blowing Point.
